      Lessons

Our number one priority when a rider comes to their lesson is that they leave happy and that they accomplished something! Our lesson curriculum consists of a variety of fun and engaging activities to keep the learning fun while also pushing riders to grow.We welcome riders of all ages, experience levels, and disciplines to try our program. Riders will learn how to care for a horse, prepare a horse to be ridden, and how to ride in their desired discipline.

Lessons last an hour and are $40.

A large indoor riding arena makes lessons comfortable in any kind of weather. Friends and family are welcome to watch lessons from our viewing area. Lesson times available throughout the week we can accommodate even the busiest schedules. Our instructors have experience teaching both English and Western styles of riding. At their disposal are a combination of horses suitable for teaching basics to beginners, as well as fine-tuning skills for advanced equestrians.

      Camps

Our Horse camps are a great way to teach responsibility, confidence and how to work with others. During camp we care for horses, play games, educate ourselves on basic horse knowledge, and of course spend plenty of time in the saddle! Our camp is designed for riders ages 5 and up.

      Camp hours are 7:30-5:30.

The staff at TAB Performance Horses offers a fun and educational program teaching students about horses in a fun environment. Our instructors stress safety, horsemanship, and enjoyment as the most important elements of the camp. In addition to riding, your child will learn how to groom, saddle, bathe, and care for a horse. When the children are not in the barn they are participating in games, crafts and educational presentations.

      No previous experience required

Please Note: All campers are requested to wear long pants and boots or shoes with at least a 1″ heel. Sandals are not allowed for any reason. Helmets are Mandatory! Campers are required to wear helmets during every camp session.. They may bring their own equestrian helmets from home or they may borrow a helmet that is provided by TAB Performance Horses. I grew up owning horses my entire life and enjoyed riding around the farm and training my own horses. but it wasn’t until I became a mother and my daughter got the horse bug that we took on the showing world. I have worked with a wide variety of trainers to help further my experience in the horse community. I am the local 4 H horse leader in the area. I have coached and trained riders to show and compete at a variety of shows to include local fun shows, 4 H State Horse Show to the Congress and even  Pinto Worlds. My  riders have competed in many classes to include Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Ranch Riding, Ranchmanship Reining, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and many speed classes. My riders have gone on and have won many buckles, and titles to include reserve congress champions and reserve world and even world champions titles!

My riding career started before I could even walk, my mom would lead me around the pasture on one of her horses and from then on it was never a question if horses would play a role in my life. I went to my first horse show when I was 6 and it opened a door to a whole new world for me. Since then I have competed at various levels and in different events. I have competed every year I have been eligible at the Missouri State fair winning a large variation of awards. Along with the state fair I have competed in many breed shows including the Pinto World Show where I brought home a World Championship Title. My show career has allowed me to meet many people and expand my knowledge of the equine sport. I have always enjoyed riding and competing but, when I started teaching a little over 5 years ago, it took my passion and allowed me to place a spark in people of all ages. I have built my curriculum to be flexible for any age or experience of rider to ensure that they feel comfortable while also encouraging growth. I have multiple years of experience under many different disciplines of riding including Western Pleasure, Reinning, Barrel Racing, Hunter Under Saddle, Dressage and Jumping. I have access to a variety of different horses to suit the most inexperienced riders to the most advanced! I welcome all ages to start or continue their journey!
